Fantasy football stock watch: Kirk Cousins, Leonard Fournette back on upswing

These players saw their fantasy values increase or decrease most based on their performances in Week 6:

Sizzlers

QB Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings: The Minnesota offense exploded against Carolina with four wide receivers going over 70 yards. Cousins was near unstoppable, throwing for 373 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. With 13 touchdown passes and two interceptions through the first six weeks, Cousins is clearly in control of the offense and accomplishing great things.

RB Leonard Fournette, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Fournette is back to his rushing, receiving and goal-line contributions -- the way he did during last year's playoff run. He had his best showing of the season (2 TDs, 81 yards rushing, 46 receiving) on Thursday night.

WR CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: Lamb is a special player and Dallas knows it, too. Dak Prescott connected with him twice for scores vs. New England (including the winning touchdown in overtime), and he went over 100 receiving yards for the second time this season.

RB Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts: Over his last three games, Taylor has scored five times and is averaging 147 combined yards per game. He is single-handedly winning games for many fantasy teams.

WR Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins: Maybe there's something to drafting a quarterback's favorite receiver from college. Waddle exploded in London with 10 receptions from 13 targets for 70 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Fizzlers

RB Chase Edmonds, Arizona Cardinals: Yet to score a touchdown this season, Edmonds has seen his usage continue to drop. This past week he received just four carries and four targets in the passing game. All this despite playing for a team averaging over 32 points per game.

RB Antonio Gibson, Washington Football Team: His usage has dipped as he struggles with a hairline shin fracture. It may not be long before Washington decides to give Gibson some rest to get him ready for next year.

WR Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks: Sometimes even good players can disappear when their quarterback is out. With Geno Smith replacing the injured Russell Wilson, Lockett was targeted seven times, but he only managed to catch two of those for 35 yards. Lockett is a dart throw until Wilson returns to the lineup.

WR Chase Claypool, Pittsburgh Steelers: With JuJu Smith-Schuster out for the season, Claypool underdelivered on Sunday. He also secured just two of seven targets for 17 yards in a game that went into overtime.

WR Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals: Boyd was a target monster last year with 110, but in 2021 his usage has tailed off as rookie Ja'Marr Chase has become the Bengals' go-to receiver. Even in a rout of Detroit, Boyd managed one catch for seven yards.
