Fantasy Freebies Week 5 - Henry Ruggs

Matt Harmon explains why the Las Vegas WR is a great pick up this week.

MATT HARMON: My pick here is Henry Ruggs of the Las Vegas Raiders, and I'll tell you why. Look, I know everybody is jacked up about Hunter Renfrow right now, and if that hit didn't get you jacked up on Monday night last week, like, I don't, do you even like football. That was awesome.

But nevertheless, don't lose sight of the fact that Henry Ruggs is averaging 17.8 area yards per target. That leads not just the team, I'm pretty sure that leads all like relevant wide receivers right now. So you know he can get those explosive plays.

And by the way, the Bears allow those explosive plays. They rank 23rd in explosive play rate allowed. And I know that a lot of that damage has been done by slot receivers. Which again, might lead you back to Hunter Renfrow, I don't hate that logic at all. But Henry Ruggs takes 45% of his snaps in the slot as well. So he could rip that Colts defense down, or rip that Bears defense down the middle of the field. I don't mind him as a dart throw this week one bit.
