FANTASY OF LIGHTS RESULTS: Lady Raiders earn spot in Gold Bracket semifinals
Jalynn Bristow set one program record and tied another Friday.
The Rider junior scored 44 points and grabbed 25 rebounds in a 72-67 victory against Kennedale during pool play in the Fantasy of Lights Basketball Tournament.
The 44 points breaks her previous school record, while the 25 rebounds ties the program mark, which Bristow already held.
Bristow's effort came in one of the tournament's top matchups from the opening day. She led the Lady Raiders into the Gold Bracket where they'll face Prosper Rock Hill in the semifinals at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
