Curtis Samuel is back from injury. What does that mean for his fantasy stock value?
ANDY BEHRENS: Matt Harmon, talk to us about Curtis Samuel.
MATT HARMON: Well, if you're going to twist my arm. Yeah, I'd love to talk about Curtis Samuel. Now, he gets his debut last week, and, obviously, you know, they got him the ball a little bit. Nothing huge there or anything like that. But I love the fact that he took seven snaps outside. Took eight snaps in the slot. So they're moving him around a little bit. I really like that for his potential usage down the road.
And, look, they're going to need him because the pride of Lynchburg, Virginia, Logan Thomas, is out for a few weeks here. He's on IR. They're going to need a second pass-catcher to step up beyond Terry McLaurin. I think it is Curtis Samuel who they paid that money to. And, I mean, he gets a-- he gets a Saints defense this week that let John Ross get behind them for like a 52-yard touchdown, let old Kadarius Toney get off the line of scrimmage a couple of times. That guy can't even barely run any routes.
So, yeah, I think Curtis Samuel could actually have a pretty big week. I don't know if I've got like the fortitude to start him this week, but I do think he is trending up and a guy that you are going to want to have on your roster. Only 33% rostered in Yahoo leagues right now. I definitely think that is going to rise after this week and going forward.
