Fantasy Stock Watch - James Conner

Andy Behrens breaks down the Cardinals RB's fluctuating fantasy stock value

Video Transcript

ANDY BEHRENS: I want to bring up James Conner here, who we mentioned earlier. Pretty good play this week. I've got no real debate with that. But James Conner so far on the season is entirely touchdown-dependent, and that really concerns me. He has three catches this year. He's averaging 3.2 yards per carry, which is just simply not great. Chase Edmonds is the back that they are throwing to. Chase has been active as a receiver, probably going to finish this year with something like 70, 75 catches on the year. And Connor just not involved in that way at all.

We are trying to build a fantasy portfolio here that is tailored to your needs, and at some point, you're going to need yards, you're going to need receptions. These are things that matter in fantasy. I don't trust guys who are just entirely touchdown-dependent. So if I can throw James Conner on the trade block and try to get something, I am definitely doing that right now.
