How far does Iowa State slide in latest college basketball polls after loss to No. 1 Baylor?

Iowa State men's basketball may have lost its Big 12 opener Saturday, but the Cyclones didn't suffer a major slide in the latest college basketball polls.

The Cyclones are ranked No. 11 in the latest Ferris Mowers Men's Basketball Coaches Poll, which was released Monday. Last week, Iowa State was No. 8. Iowa State also is ranked No. 11 in the Associated Press poll this week, down three spots from last week.

On Saturday, Iowa State (12-1 overall, 0-1 in Big 12) fell 77-72 in Ames to top-ranked Baylor, the reigning national champion.

"We understood the magnitude of the game," Iowa State coach T.J. Otzelberger said after the loss. "What I’m more interested in now with our group is how we respond, how we bounce back."
