Far West Side shooting leaves 23-year-old man found at gas station dead
A 23-year-old man died Thursday night after being shot outside a Far West Side gas station.
Columbus police said Ian Cousins, of the Southeast Side, was found shot around 8:10 p.m. Thursday outside the United Dairy Farmers gas station, located at 901 Norton Road. Police had initially received a report of a shooting on the 800 block of Danwood Drive, about a half mile from the gas station.
Cousins was rushed to OhioHealth Doctors Hospital but he died from his injuries at 8:36 p.m. Thursday.
Detectives are continuing to work to identify suspects or a motive in the shooting.
