- A farm accused of price gouging during the pandemic pays up with eggs. Hillandale Farms agreed to give the state of New York 1.2 million eggs. It's part of the settlement reached after Attorney General Letitia James sued them. The Ohio and Pennsylvania-based wholesale egg distributor reportedly jacked up prices and sold them in stores in struggling neighborhoods.

LETITIA JAMES: At some stores, prices for one carton of eggs in January of 2020 ranged from $0.59 to $1.10. And then by April 2020, these prices reached $2.93 for the same carton of eggs in some stores.

- Food banks will distribute the eggs to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and homeless shelters.
