At this farm, visitors can escape life and play with adorable baby goats

Picture some 60 baby goats wearing pajamas. They hop and trot down a gravel pathway, joyfully followed by giggling children who are trying to put the goats to bed. No, it’s not some bizarre Alice in Wonderland fantasy but a reality every springtime at the Sunflower Farm Creamery near Cumberland, Maine.

Watch the video to see these adorable baby goats bringing calm to the farm.

In this picturesque farmyard, surrounded by green fields and white fences, baby goats provide visitors with an escape from reality, relieving troubles and anxieties with a little dose of innocence and joy.

“Nine out of 10 people end up saying something like, oh, wow, this is the best therapy ever,” says Hope Hall, one of the farm’s owners. “It started with just two pet baby goats for our daughters. We just thought it would be fun for them to have some pets outside. And now, 14 years later, we have about 60 babies a year.”

Hall describes the baby goats as much like the best people you could meet, offering guests an experience that’s the perfect mix of serenity and silliness.

Sunflower Farm has become a place to unwind and connect with an animal. They offer a variety of activities ranging from goat yoga to workshops to putting pajama-clothed baby goats to bed. And who knows, pick the right day, and you might even get to name one of the goats too.
