The Celtics won in Denver, beating the Nuggets, 105-87. Jayson Tatum led the C's with 28 points and 10 boards as the Celtics held the Nuggets to just eight points in the fourth quarter. Nikola Jokic notched another triple-double in the loss with 17 points, 10 boards, and 11 assists.
The Knicks beat the Raptors, 102-96. Julius Randle had 26 to lead all scorers, but the Raptors' Gary Trent Jr led the way with 23.
An intrastate battle in Texas went to the Spurs as they beat the Mavericks, 119-117. DeMar DeRozan had 33, including the game winner. In the loss, Kristaps Porzingis scored 31 and grabbed 15 boards.
The Heat beat the Trail Blazers in Portland, 107-98. Bam Adebayo had 22. Jimmy Butler added 20. For the Blazers, CJ McCollum led the way with 17.
Elsewhere, the Pelicans beat the Cavaliers, 116-109. The Bucks defeated Orlando, 124-87. The Pacers won on the road in Memphis, 132-125. The Timberwolves beat the Bulls, 121-117. And the Clippers outlasted the Pistons, 131-124. And that is your "Fast Break."
