CHRIS MILES: Nine games of NBA action on January 20. I'm Chris Miles here with your nba.com "Fast Break." Cleveland Cavaliers overcame the Brooklyn Nets in double overtime, 147-135. Collin Sexton led the Cavaliers with a career-high 42 points.

The Dallas Mavericks beat Indiana Pacers, 124-112. Kristaps Porzingis led the way with 27 points, while Luka Doncic chipped in 13 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists.

The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Boston Celtics, 117-109. Joel Embiid dominated-- 42 points, 10 rebounds to lead the way for the 76ers.

The Atlanta Hawks beat the Pistons 123 to 115 in overtime. Trae Young racked up 38 points, while Clint Capela grabbed 26 rebounds.

Miami Heat beat the Toronto Raptors, 111-102. Kendrick Nunn came off the bench to lead the Heat with 28 points.

The Golden State Warriors beat the San Antonio Spurs, 121-99. Steph Curry led the way with 26 points for Golden State.

In other action, Orlando Magic beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, 97-96, thanks to a buzzer beater by Cole Anthony. Phoenix Suns beat the Houston Rockets, 109-103. LA Clippers beat the Sacramento Kings, 115 to 96. And lastly, the Washington Wizards versus Charlotte Hornets and the Memphis Grizzlies versus the Portland Trail Blazers games were postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.
