Flames and smoke could be seen in the hills above San Luis Obispo on Monday afternoon as a wildfire burned near San Luis Obispo High School.
The fire, which has the potential to reach 250 acres, started at around 2:45 p.m. Monday behind the FFA farm building at the high school. Evacuations were ordered for part of the afternoon, but lifted Monday night.
Tribune photographers and community members captured photos and video as crews in the air and on the ground responded to the fire.
