Man killed in Oviedo crash, roadway reopen
Update: Mitchell Hammock Road has reopened following Friday’s fatal crash.
Oviedo officials said one man was killed in the crash.

Oviedo police are investigating a fatal traffic accident.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Friday at Mitchell Hammock Road and Sharon Court, which is currently shut down due to the investigation.

Mitchell Hammock Road is shut down from SR 434 to Lake Jessup Drive. People are being asked to avoid the area as it will be “shut down for a while,” Oviedo police said.
Police and fire crews are on scene.
