Fate of Kramer building to be decided Tuesday

May 3—WINDHAM — The Windham Town Council is holding one of its first in-person public meetings in over a year Tuesday at Windham Middle School.

And when they assemble, voters will decide the fate of the old Kramer Middle School building and give their decision on multiple improvement projects around town.

A special town meeting will be held on Tuesday at 6: 15 p. m. at Windham Middle School, located at 123 Quarry St.

According to the legal notice posted online at windhamct.com, two items are on the agenda.

The town is proposing selling three town parcels, including the Kramer building, for economic development purposes. Kramer's price tag is about $575,000.

In addition, it needs to decide several capital improvement projects around town totaling $350,000.
