Father and Son Traverse Flooded Roads in Arkansas via Boat

A father traversed flood waters with his son near Winchester, Arkansas, as Flash Flood Warnings issued for the region on June 8.

Footage recorded by Allison Dunn shows her husband transporting their child through inundated roads.

Dunn’s husband, Allen, told Storyful that his son was “stranded at my mother-in-law’s house because of the flood waters. Our trucks couldn’t drive down the highway due to the high water.”

Allen said his son called him and asked to be picked up, “since the water was so high, I took the boat there to get him.”
