Faulkner University announces author, talk show host Candace Owens as benefit dinner speaker

Faulkner University's annual benefit dinner speaker on Oct. 6 will be conservative author, activist and talk show host Candace Owens.

The 2022 Benefit Dinner will have the theme of law enforcement and has launched the "Believe in Blue" initiative, which will provide tuition discounts for online undergraduate and Master's degrees in criminal justice and Master of Justice Administration.

The announcement was made by Faulkner University's President-Elect Mitch Henry at the Tuesday morning news conference

"This year's speaker has had more than 250 media appearances in the last year," said Henry. "This year's speaker is a mom. She is a wife. She is a businesswoman. She's a staunch supporter of and protecting American rights and values. She's a supporter of law enforcement."

Owens works with Ben Shapiro's Daily Wire organization.

Faulkner University began the benefit dinner more than 40 years ago and has previously sold more than 2,000 tickets. Previous speakers include former Vice President Mike Pence, Nikki Haley and former President George W. Bush.

"So, like Faulkner, Candace Owens values law enforcement, and as a supporter of law enforcement and we invite you to come on Oct. 6 to the Renaissance Hotel downtown and while you're there, enjoy a wonderful dinner," said Henry.
