BetMGM has the Chiefs at +2 on the spread, meaning they are two-point underdogs in the big game against the San Francisco 49ers. SportsLine, another sportsbook, has the same odds for Kansas City.

The spread is the expected point difference between the two teams. It is represented as both a negative and positive number.

Since the spread is two points, you’ll see that as both -2 and +2. The favorite to win the game gets the negative number, and the underdog gets the positive number.

If you were to bet on the Chiefs at these odds, you would win your wager if the team wins or if they lose by less than two points. For example, if you were to bet $100 on the Chiefs, you would win $210, according to BetMGM.
