Looks like we've been outchef'd by a dog. And honestly, we're kind of thrilled.
The best new food TikTok account out there features a golden retriever chef cooking a variety of recipes. @cookingwithbadger has received hundreds of thousands of views and lots of positive feedback from hungry fans.
Badger was born on July 25, 2021, and it didn't take long before he earned the title of "Classically Trained Chef" and "Pawsonal Chef." Taking his skills to the kitchen, the pup has crafted a number of dishes for TikTok, including banana bread, chimichurri chicken, and butternut squash soup—and they all look amazing.
In one of Badger's most popular TikToks, he makes shepherd's pie from scratch. In the video, which has been viewed over 1 million times, Badger slices and dices as he preps the veggies, potatoes, and meat. And with his chef's hat and apron, he looks like an absolute pro.
Personally, we love @cookingwithbadger's dedication to fresh ingredients. That's why one of our faves is his Orange Cauliflower “Chimken,” a dish made using fresh orange juice squeezed by Badger himself. Coming in a close second is a winter favorite, clam chowder.
