Fayetteville Animal Services offers ‘puppy-grams’ for Valentine’s Day

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fayetteville Animal Services offers a special gift called “puppy-grams” for Valentine’s Day.

A press release says for a suggested minimum $50 donation, your special someone will receive a 10-minute visit from an adorable dog.

During the visit, the chosen dog will present your valentine with one long-stem rose and a card acknowledging that a donation has been made to the Fayetteville animal shelter in their honor.
“Puppy-grams” will be available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on February 13-14.

“We have amazing pets here. We have amazing staff and volunteers that work here, and this is a great opportunity for us to get out in the community, be seen and get those dogs some extra attention,” said Justine Lentz, superintendent for Fayetteville Animal Services.

To sign your loved one up to get a “puppy-gram” you can call Fayetteville Animal Services at 479-444-3456 and they will get your information and send you a tax-deductible receipt.

The release says the service is only available to addresses within Fayetteville city limits, and it is the responsibility of the gift-giver to make sure animals are allowed at the desired location.
