Fayetteville man gets 30 years in prison for crash that killed Missouri man

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Fayetteville man pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Wednesday for his involvement in a 2022 crash that killed a Missouri man, according to court documents.

Jake Pinneo, 34, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and four drug possession charges. Pinneo was also given a 15-year suspended sentence, according to an order.

The manslaughter and battery charges were related to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 45 near Goshen that killed Donald Kramer, 41, of Nixa, Mo. in December 2022.

Pinneo was the driver of one of the vehicles and among the four injured in the crash, according to a crash report.

Washington County Prosecutor Matt Durrett confirmed to KNWA/FOX24 that Pinneo caused the crash and was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

The drug charges included possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, clonazepam and drug paraphernalia and were from an August 2023 arrest.
