Chasity Poole, 34, of Fayetteville, is a Realtor and new home sales specialist with Smith Douglas Homes.

Who are your immediate family members?

What does your job entail?

My job entails working directly with my buyers and sellers in marketing and purchasing property. As a real estate agent, you have to understand the local housing market, build your own network, have the confidence in your abilities, and have the desire and passion to help your clients.

An Associate in Science from Pitt Community College and J.Y. Monk Real Estate School

What community and professional groups are you affiliated with?

Member of the Longleaf Pine REALTORS Association

How do you volunteer your time in the community?

Giving back to foundations, helping with church functions at Timberlake Church of God and helping the homeless.

What is one thing you wish people knew or understood better about your profession?

The Realtor, lender and attorney you choose to work with are as important as your offer.

What's the best advice you've ever received and/or the worst advice you've ever followed?

The best advice that was given to me by my best friend, Keely, was to always choose faith over fear/stress! The opposite of uncertainty is certainty!

If you weren't in your current profession, what would you be?

I would totally be a sports commentator, without a doubt!

What are five things (not people or pets) you can't live without?

My Bible, NFL, my phone, caffeine and any and every place that is tropical!

What's something you do outside of work to enrich yourself?

Traveling with family; spa days; going for a swim; taking time to reflect; and going to my daughters' competitions to do what they love the most.
