Names released of two men killed in Fayetteville shooting early Wednesday

The identities of two men killed in an early morning shooting Wednesday in a neighborhood off Rim Road were released late Wednesday afternoon.

Aljarez Elliott, 18, and Alzy Diamond, 24, both of Fayetteville, died in the shooting reported at 3:23 a.m. in the 700 block of Rembrandt Drive, according to the Fayetteville Police Department. Two other men who were also shot were taken to the hospital. One was reportedly in critical condition and the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. Their names were not released.
