FBI looking for suspect following robbery at Commerce Bank in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The FBI is attempting to locate a suspect following a bank robbery early Tuesday afternoon in Kansas City, Missouri.

The robbery was reported just before 1 p.m. at the Commerce Bank at E. 61st Street and Troost Avenue.

The suspect is described as a Black man, medium build, standing 5’10” to 6’1″ tall.

He was wearing a red/yellow winter hat, dark jacket, dark colored shirt, black pants, white socks and slip on shoes.

The FBI said the suspect left the bank on foot with an unknown amount of money.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
