Federal agents are looking for a known member of the United Blood Nation gang wanted on drug trafficking and firearms charges out of the U.S. District Court in Newport News.
Officials said 31-year-old LaShawn Robertson is a known member of the United Blood Nation gang and has ties to multiple other gangs, including the Nine Trey Gangsters and 59 BRIMS.
The court issued an arrest warrant July 8 for being a felon in possession of a firearm; distributing heroin or cocaine or cocaine base or methamphetamine, amphetamine, and oxycodone; and providing a firearm to a convicted felon, according to an FBI news release.
Robertson was believed to be involved in the “distribution of multiple illegal substances” in Virginia between 2015 and 2020, according to the release.
Robertson is a Black man, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and he weighs 230 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. The FBI also said he has tattoos covering his right forearm.
He has ties to Williamsburg, where he used to live, according to the news release.
The case is being investigated by the FBI’s Peninsula Safe Streets Task Force.
