Cesar Sayoc charged with 5 federal crimes in mail bomb plot

Cesar Sayoc was arrested in Florida on Friday and charged with five federal crimes in connection with the mailing of pipe bombs. The announcement of the 56-year-old’s arrest came shortly after two new suspicious packages — one addressed to Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., and another to former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper — were intercepted by authorities in Florida and New York City. Two others sent to Sen.
