Despite the continuing challenges brought by the pandemic, FBMC Benefits Management, Inc., still found avenues to spread much-needed holiday cheer with the community in 2021.

Hard-hit by increasing demands, Elder Care Services, Inc., was facing Thanksgiving with a bare pantry. FBMC employees rallied and brought in bags and boxes of groceries to help put food on the shelves.

The company also helped sponsor Project Annie’s Community Thanksgiving Meal, which serves those in our community who are economically challenged and food insufficient.

“The generous support of individuals like you makes it possible for our organization to exist and to make the community a great place to live,” said Project Annie Executive Director Annie Johnson.

FBMC supplied meals during the Christmas season for families staying at the Big Bend Hospice House and made donations to support Elder Care’s Oktoberfest and Elder Elf programs.

“We’d like to give a huge thank you to our employees for their generosity in supporting our community,” said David Faulkenberry, FBMC President and CEO. “I’m so grateful to be part of such a caring company.”

The spirit of giving wasn’t limited to the holiday season. Throughout the year, FBMC contributed to various groups including Brehon House, Second Harvest Food Bank, Apalachee School’s Classroom Connection, Sabal Palm Back to School supply drive, Pyramid Studios, Refuge House, It’s Meow or Never rescue, PACE Center for Girls, Girls on the Run, and the American Cancer Society.
