FC Dynamo Kyiv reportedly to earn windfall from Zabarnyi's subsequent sale thanks to 20% clause

Football club Dynamo Kyiv will make money on the next transfer of Ukrainian defender Illya Zabarnyi, journalist and YouTube show TaToTake host Michael Spivakovsky reported on Dec. 23.

If Bournemouth, for which the Ukrainian currently plays, sells the player to another club, Kyiv will receive 20% of the amount, due to a clause in Zabarnyi’s contract.

Zabarnyi joined the English club from Dynamo Kyiv in January 2023. The transfer amounted to 22.7 million euros ($25 million).

This season the defender played 17 matches for the Cherries in the Premier League.
