FDA extends shelf life of Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine

Authorities are reportedly suspending new Johnson & Johnson shipments after the FDA extended the shelf life for surplus vials from 3 months to 4 1/2 months. It comes as Moderna seeks emergency use authorization to offer its vaccine to children ages 12 to 17.
