FDA panel endorses coronavirus vaccine boosters only for older adults and those at high risk

Expert advisers to the Food and Drug Administration on Sept. 17 unanimously recommended a coronavirus vaccine booster to people 65 and older and those at high risk of severe disease. The panel however rejected a broader plan to offer the booster shots to everyone 16 and older.
