FDA signs off on boosters for Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccine recipients, backs mix-and-match option

It is now up to the CDC to decide whether to roll out booster shots for Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccine recipients, after the FDA authorized the additional doses Wednesday.
