Colorado low spreads heavy snow across Quebec Tuesday, tricky commute times
Another far-reaching Colorado low is moving through central Canada this week, with Quebec on deck for seeing heavy snow after it plowed through southern Ontario Monday night. Widespread snowfall warnings are in effect for southern Quebec.

The snow started early Tuesday morning around Montreal, just in time for the start of the morning commute. The first half of the morning commute for Quebec City will be smooth, as the snow isn’t expected to enter the region until late morning. Those in Quebec City can expect a difficult evening commute, however, as the snow will persist through the evening hours.

Montreal, Gatineau, and Quebec City will all see 15-20 cm of snow Tuesday, with snowfall easing in Montreal and Gatineau through the evening and overnight.
A swath of heavier snow between Mont-Tremblant and Trois-Rivieres will drop about 15 cm of snow, prompting Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) to issue snowfall warnings for these areas.
"Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow," ECCC warns. "There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas."
The system will fully move out of the province Tuesday night, bringing in a day of mixed sun and clouds to kick off March.
