Is Federal Donuts bringing wild flavors, fried chicken to South Jersey?

EVESHAM – The doughnuts are coming, the doughnuts are coming.

Apparently, a popular Philadelphia-based doughnut restaurant, which also sells fried chicken, is crossing the Delaware River and coming into South Jersey.

While nothing is official and things could always change, Federal Donuts will reportedly have a location at the Marlton Square Shopping Center, according to the center’s website. It will be the chain’s first New Jersey location.

Evesham Township said through a spokesperson: "The Township is aware of the listing of 'Federal Donuts' on the website for the Marlton Square Shopping Center. However, as of this time, the Office of Community Development has not received any permit/inspection requests or application submissions to any boards."

The chain offers unique and scrumptious-sounding doughnut flavors. How about pralines & cream, Chocolate Cake Old-Fashioned, Strawberry Lavender, cookies n cream, Blackberry Crumble, Spice Pear a La Mode or Lavender London Fog?
