Federal marshals arrest Pittsburg murder suspect in Arkansas

Dec. 12—A suspect wanted in the Aug. 20 shooting death of a Pittsburg, Kansas, man was arrested by federal marshals Tuesday afternoon in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

The Pittsburg Police Department said in a news release that the U.S. Marshals Service took 33-year-old Jemon Allen into custody on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the death of 36-year-old Justin E. Krogen.

Krogen died of gunshot injuries sustained in the early morning hours of Aug. 20 outside a bar in the 200 block of North Locust Street in Pittsburg.
