Fed's Powell tests positive for Covid with mild symptoms

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell has tested positive for Covid and is experiencing mild symptoms, the central bank announced Wednesday.

Powell, 69, has no previously recorded infections with the coronavirus. He is “working remotely while isolating at home,” the Fed said in a press release.

According to the Fed, he is up to date on his vaccines and boosters.
