Feed My People Food Bank fundraiser will be Saturday on Lake Wissota

Feb. 16—CHIPPEWA FALLS — The Edge Pub and Eatery will be holding a "Snolf" fundraiser Saturday on Lake Wissota, with the proceeds going to Feed My People Food Bank.

The 12th annual Snolf Tournament is held on the bay on the north side of the lake, next to the Edge. The frozen bay "is converted to a 9-hole Snolf course with holes drilled into the ice, golf flags placed, and snow plowed tee boxes and greens," a news release states. The event includes raffles and auctions as well as the tournament.

Altoona-based Feed My People Food Bank serves 14 surrounding counties. Over the past 13 years, the Snolf tournament has raised $55,000. All proceeds from registration fees and money raised will go to the organization. For more information, contact 715-829-8704.
