An estimated $1.2 billion is up for grabs in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing after the jackpot jumped again when no one matched all six numbers in Monday’s drawing.
The current jackpot is the fourth-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history, according to the Massachusetts Lottery Commission. The jackpot record is $1.586 billion, which was won by three Powerball players back in 2016.

A single Powerball ticket costs just $2 but the odds of hitting the jackpot are said to be more than 292 million to 1.
