Eat frog legs, watch a water circus, drink local beer, check out a car show and stroll a craft show this weekend.

The 30th annual Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival is being held January 21-24, 2021, around the City Hall Complex in Fellsmere. The free event features frog leg and gator tail dinners, live music, vendor booths and a midway with carnival rides. The food schedule is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The festival schedule is 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Parking is also free. Organizers are taking COVID-19 precautions and ask that visitors do the same. New this year is a cash-only, drive-thru for food pick-up which is located at 21 S. Cypress Street.

Cirque Italia Water Circus

  • The new production begins with the ringmaster fishing when he unexpectedly catches a bottle with a treasure map stuffed inside. His ensuing journey takes the audience through storms on the high seas, dreams of angelic aerialists and pirate fights. See swashbucklers balancing upside down on a rum barrel, juggling knives and having a run-in with a mermaid, as well as the suspenseful crossbow act and dangerous “wheel of death” performances.
