FEMA assistance deadline for Hurricane Nicole is approaching, here’s how to apply
The clock is ticking for some Central Florida counties to apply for Federal Emergency Management Agency assistance for Hurricane Nicole.

Homeowners who suffered damage or property in Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Putnam, St. Johns or Volusia Counties can apply for federal aid.
FEMA disaster assistance could be financial, rental assistance, hotel costs reimbursement, temporary housing funding, and funds to repair damage caused to your home.

FEMA said the aid could also be used for other items and services related to the disaster but would only supplement “basic needs” not covered by insurance.

Call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362, available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern Time.

Visit a Disaster Recovery Center. Find one close to you by clicking here or texting DRC and your ZIP code to 43362.
