When we were small, the books we read taught us a hell of a lot about life. That good must overcome evil, that we must be brave through hardship, and that we should avoid using our magical powers until we’re 17.
As well as the authors of these stories, those we have to thank are the badass female characters within them. The ones who taught us not to take s**t from anybody, and who told us to keep striving and learning regardless of who tries to hold us back.
