The centerpiece of the march is a huge chariot with a blue, red and yellow canopy adorned with swans, lotus flowers, flags and a brass chakra. The chariot also is accessorized with two thick 100-foot-long ropes that are used by parade-goers to move the chariot along the parade route to the sights and sounds of lively dancing and Indian music.

The event runs from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday at Sun Splash Park, 611 S. Atlantic Ave. in Daytona Beach.
