Rocktoberfest
The fourth annual ROCKTOBERFEST & MONSTER SPLASH SEAPLANE FLY-IN will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown Tavares.
The family friendly event features live rock music, seaplane competitions, kids pumpkin decorating, food and merchandise vendors.
Organizers will be kicking off the festivities with the Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In at 11 a.m. They will also be giving away pumpkin decorating kits and candy to the first 100 kids.
Immediately following the seaplane contests, they will have special performances from Papa Wheelee, Black Canvas, Atomic Punks and Petty Cash.

WestMUTTster Dog Show & Silent Auction
Join the show and enjoy the day at beautiful Ferran Park in downtown Eustis on Sunday at 11 a.m. Everyone is invited: two-, three-, and four-legged. This is a fundraising event supporting the Humane Society of Lake County.
The event will feature a huge silent auction, food trucks, craft and retail vendors, dog show and more.
Dog show registration is $10 for two categories, which include best kisser, best hair, best costume, best trick and wiggliest butt.

Mount Dora Craft Fair
The downtown streets come alive with more than 400 of the best exhibitors in the country ready to show and sell their fine and fun crafts at the 36th annual event on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Festival food, music, beer and wine tasting for adults and a free kid zone for the kids will round out the event.

Come out to Ferran Park on Saturday at 3 p.m. for an old-fashioned fall festival with vendors, food, fun and more. There will be a costume contest for the little ones as well.

Fifth annual Leesburg Recreation Scholarship Golf Tournament
The Leesburg Recreation Scholarship golf tournament happens on Friday with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. It raises money to support the Leesburg Recreation Department scholarship program.
Lunch, golf, golf carts, range balls and light snacks at the conclusion of the 18 holes are included. Sponsorships are available as a hole or a package that includes a hole sponsor and a foursome. Come out and enjoy a day on the links while supporting the youth of Leesburg.

AdventHealth 33rd annual Great Floridian Triathlon Multisport Festival
Florida's original and the longest running independent full distance triathlon in the country hosts the 33rd annual Great Floridian Triathlon festival in Clermont on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. at Waterfront Park.
It will include a half distance triathlon, a sprint triathlon, duathlon, aquabike and multiple relay options.

Scream Scenes at the Square
Scream Scenes at the Square is a thrilling new, haunted house experience within the Lake Square Mall for the 2022 Halloween season, happening each Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. through Oct. 31.
Located in the center of the mall, next to Bath and Body Works, this is a scare maze that will test the hearts of even the bravest of Halloween fans out there. Visit graveyard scenes, an abandoned manor, and even a haunted arcade room plus so much more.

Scott’s Maze Adventure is back for its 19th annual corn maze, fall festival and pumpkin patch on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
