FHP: Lady Lake pedestrian killed in early Monday crash

A 52-year-old pedestrian was killed in a crash early Monday morning on US Highway 441 north of Bella Cruz Drive in Lady Lake, according to the FHP.

The man, a Lady Lake resident, was walking or standing in the outside lane around 5 a.m. Monday, "for an unknown reason," when a 20-year-old driver from Gulfport, Mississippi struck him, an FHP press release said.

The FHP did not release the name of the deceased.
