FHP: Pensacola Christian College student struck and killed by suspected drunk driver
A Pensacola Christian College student was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday on Airport Boulevard west of Memory Lane.
A 19-year-old PCC Student was performing cleanup duties around a college facility located on Airport Boulevard when an eastbound pickup truck drifted off the roadway and onto the sidewalk, causing the front of the truck to collide with the student.

The student was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the pickup, a 59-year-old Pensacola man, is being investigated for DUI.
