FHP seeks information on April crash in SE Marion that killed woman on motorcycle

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are asking for the public's assistance as they investigate a fatal two-vehicle crash on April 3 at Southeast 92nd Loop and County Road 25.

According to FHP officials, a woman was riding an orange 2019 KTM motorcycle northbound on Southeast 92nd Loop. An older model gray Chevy Venture was southbound on Southeast 92nd Loop, attempting to turn onto CR 25.

Authorities said the vehicles collided at the intersection. They are trying to find anyone who saw the crash.

Bernadette Daire, the woman riding the bike, was taken to a hospital, where she died. Daire was 43 and from Ocala, officials said.

A man and two women were in the Chevy. They were not seriously injured.
