FHSAA Northeast Florida lacrosse districts open Saturday: See 9 area tournament schedules

Playoff time is on the way for high school lacrosse.

The Florida High School Athletic Association opens district tournaments Saturday for boys and girls lacrosse across Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.

As in most team sports, district tournament champions qualify automatically for the regional playoffs later this month. The FHSAA will then use its ranking formula to allocate the remaining berths — four per region for each class.

This year's FHSAA tournament will be held May 4-6 at Paradise Coast Sports Complex in Naples.

Bartram Trail is the defending Class 2A girls champion, while Ponte Vedra (2A boys), Bolles (1A boys) and Episcopal (1A girls) also qualified for the state final four in 2022.
