Fiesta Tableware opening outlet at Hartville MarketPlace & Flea Market

HARTVILLE – A splash of color is coming to Stark County.

The Fiesta Tableware Co. ― the Newell, West Virginia-based maker of colorful dishes ― is opening an outlet store at the Hartville MarketPlace & Flea Market. A grand opening celebration will be held Nov. 17-19.

The 8,500-square-foot Fiesta Dinnerware Outlet Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The outlet primarily will feature "seconds quality dinnerware," with a first quality and decorated seasonal section also available.

“I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Hartville for unique gifts, housewares, crafts, and antiques,” Fiesta Tableware President Liz McIlvain said in a prepared statement. “Our experience of the wonderful crowds at Hartville so far is very similar to our Fiesta enthusiasts. They have a fondness for nostalgia, craftsmanship and quality.”

The company was founded in 1871 and has been making colorful dinnerware in the U.S. since 1936. The dinnerware was designed by Frederick Hurten Rhead. A new color is introduced every year, and one is retired every year, with the company offering 14 to 16 colors at any given time.

"Fiesta Dinnerware can be found all throughout my home and has been a big part of our family for many years,” Hartville Marketplace & Flea Market event coordinator Kirk Greaves said in a prepared statement. “We could not be more excited to have Fiesta inside the MarketPlace for all of our current and future customers to enjoy."
