Fifth Third Bank to open next Charlotte branch in Historic West End

Fifth Third Bancorp has announced plans to open a full-service banking center in Charlotte’s Historic West End.

Construction on the branch at 2340 Beatties Ford Road is slated to begin in late summer or early fall with an expected opening date of summer 2024, according to a news release.

Lee Fite, regional president at Fifth Third Bank, said the new location is a continued effort by Fifth Third to support the neighborhood.

“We want to be more than simply a corporate partner,” he said. “While we have made great progress building relationships with those who call the Historic West End home, we want to continue to learn from them how we can be a real friend to the community and play a vital role in serving others to improve lives. The new branch on Beatties Ford Road is the next step in this partnership.”
