Win love by daylight with new Sailor Moon x Vans sneakers this summer
Footwear brand Vans is teaming up with iconic anime Sailor Moon for an exciting new sneaker collaboration.
Retailer Foot Locker has shared images of two designs from the collection, Sailor Moon x Vans Authentic and Sk8 Hi styles, along with a countdown suggesting a June 10 release date.
The Sailor Moon x Vans Authentic features a predominantly light blue canvas upper with images of the Sailor Guardians and Tuxedo Mask emblazoned throughout. The red Vans branding on the heel completes the collab’s eye-catching yet clean look.

Meanwhile, the Sailor Moon x Vans Sk8-Hi has a high-top canvas upper with a white-based color scheme and purple accents. “Sailor Moon” characters are printed on both the lateral and medial sides. The lateral portion of the white midsole also includes Japanese lettering.
Both the Sailor Moon x Vans Authentic and Sailor Moon x Vans Sk8-Hi will be made available only in women’s sizes and priced at $80 and $110, respectively.

The Sailor Moon x Vans collaboration marks the 30th anniversary of “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon,” the manga originally created by Naoko Takeuchi.
While Vans has yet to provide details about the new collab, its Japanese website has posted more images of the shoes and other Sailor Moon x Vans products, including slip-ons, bags, hats and other shoe designs.
