The winter edition of Worcester's Restaurant week is entering its second seven days with a variety of offerings at a plethora of restaurants not just in the city, but in the suburbs, as well.

Offerings from participating restaurants include three-course dinners for $28.22 at eateries including Via Italian Table, Piccolo's, Peppercorn's Grill & Tavern and Boardroom Kitchen & Bar.

Many of the menus offer fare that feels like a date-night splurge while there are comfort foods and family-friendly options, as well.

And the deals aren't just for dinner. Some restaurants have lunch specials or offer their deals all day long.

Oli's Italian Eatery in the Gerardo's Plaza on Route 12 in West Boylston offers a choice of lemon sage haddock, chicken madeira, bowtie primavera, tortellini Matthew or chicken fontina between an appetizer and dessert for their restaurant week menu.

Those options are available, "all day every day" until Restaurant Week wraps up on March 12, a spokesperson said.

They also have a kids' menu with mac and cheese, beef tips and fries and the obligatory chicken fingers among other choices for those little ones dining with the family.

The Sole Proprietor on Highland Street offers a different menu for lunch with a choice of Caesar salad topped with chicken, shrimp or salmon, a fish sandwich or salmon marsala as an entrée and a selection of an appetizer or dessert for $16.22.

The same is true at Via Italian Table on Shrewsbury Street where two choices from the Restaurant Week promotional lunch menu are $16.22

When it comes to the ultimate family-friendly deal during Restaurant Week, Davis BBQ at 145 Redstone Hill Road in Sterling offers three courses starting with a choice of a barbecue quesadilla or loaded hog tots followed by entrees of meat called The Barnyard Bash or The No Cow Combo, both served with coleslaw and beans.

Dessert is a caramel apple waffle or hot fudge brownie with signature cinnamon brown sugar ice cream, and diners can enjoy their meal inside an igloo

While Davis Farmland is still closed for the season, there's also a chance to meet and pet some of the animals that live there inside a barn exhibit at Davis BBQ. And while adults who aren't accompanied by a child can't get in at the farmland, the barn is open to all during regular hours at the restaurant.

"You can take a selfie with a llama," Nicolette Sacco, Davis' Director of Marketing, explained.

The 110 Grille restaurants in both Worcester and Millbury are participating in Restaurant week, as well, with chicken caprese, Thai salmon and meatloaf as the entrée choices which are available all day. Both also offer a children's menu.

With restaurant week ending on March 12, there's still time to try a meal at several of the participating restaurants. A full list can be found at worcesterrestaurantweek.com, where there are links to every menu and a list of sponsors.
