There's a reason it's called "March Madness."

Upsets were the name of the game over the weekend in college basketball's annual event and you could say the same for The News-Journal's battle for best waterfront restaurant in Volusia and Flagler counties.

It's down to the Final Four, and here's your chance to pick your favorite.

  • Final Four voting will begin on Monday, March 20, featuring winners from the previous round.

Best Waterfront Restaurant championships dates

  • Final Four: March 20-23.

  • Winner announced Monday, April 3.

Golden Lion vs. Break-Awayz

Golden Lion Cafe: The restaurant is a local landmark for many reasons including the daily oyster happy hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with the key lime tartar sauce complementing the fresh oysters. Break-Awayz at the Beach: Just across the street from the Atlantic coastline is Break-Awayz in Flagler.
